Verify your page

Request verification, understand the review process, and choose where your badge appears.

Updated 22 August 2026

Verification adds a badge to your Reroute page so visitors can more easily recognise that the page belongs to you. Requests are available on the Creator plan and are reviewed by a person.

Verification is reviewed by hand

A badge is not added automatically when you submit. Reroute checks the profiles and information in your request, then emails you with the result.

Request verification

Open Design, find Verification, then select Get verified. You can also open Page, select the profile header, and open Verification from its tools.

Add at least one public profile that helps confirm the page is yours. You can include Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, or your website. Use the profile your audience is most likely to recognise.

You can also add a short note with supporting context, such as another established handle, a press link, or why two names differ. Only add details that help someone review the request.

What happens after you submit

The setting changes to Under review while the request is being checked. You cannot open another request for the same page during this time.

Reroute emails you after the review:

  • If the request is approved, the verified badge appears on your page.
  • If the request is not approved, the setting shows the review note when one is available. Update the details and select Try again to send a new request.

There is no fixed review time shown in the product. Keep the profiles in your request public and up to date so they can be checked.

Understand the badges

Most approved pages receive the blue verified badge. Selected official pages receive a gold official badge. Official badges are assigned by Reroute and cannot be requested as a separate badge type.

Verification confirms the connection between a creator and their page. It does not mean that Reroute endorses every claim, link, or product on the page.

Choose where the badge appears

After approval, return to Design and choose a badge position:

  • With socials keeps the badge beside your social links.
  • On photo places it on the profile picture.
  • On title is used instead when the selected header layout has no separate profile picture.

Some full-width header layouts keep the badge with the social icons so it remains clear and legible. The setting tells you when the selected layout uses that fallback.

If something looks wrong

Get verified opens a plan screen. Verification requests are available on the Creator plan. Upgrade the page’s plan before submitting.

The request form will not submit. Add at least one public social profile or website. Check that the address points directly to your profile rather than a platform home page.

The badge is not where you selected. The current header layout may not have a separate photo or title position. In that case, the badge stays with the social icons.

The page changed after approval. Keep the page identity and linked profiles accurate. If visitors could no longer tell that the page is yours, update the profile and social links.

Check your verification setup

  • The request includes a public profile that clearly belongs to you.
  • Any supporting note is short and relevant to the review.
  • The email address on your Reroute account is current.
  • An approved badge remains clear in the selected header layout.
  • The page name, profile image, and social links still describe the same creator.

For the rest of your header and page setup, return to Set up your profile and social links or Design your page. For the full Creator feature comparison, read Understand plans and billing.
