Choose one question people keep asking. Give them the smallest useful resource that answers it.
Pick a format you can finish
- Checklist: Cafe photo-shoot preparation.
- Template: Freelance client-onboarding brief.
- Short guide: Beginner pottery tools.
- Asset pack: Original Lightroom presets with instructions.
- Workshop companion: A first-class materials list.
Shopify’s product-validation guidance recommends checking actual interest before investing heavily. Ask a few relevant people whether the resource would help before building a larger version.
Publish it in 4 steps
- Open Add block and choose a Digital Product.
- Select Free, attach the file, and describe exactly what it contains.
- Put the matching Block near the top of your page.
- Submit a real test and open both the confirmation and delivery email.
Better label: Download the cafe photo-shoot checklist.
Weaker label: Freebie.

A completed free download appears in Responses and creates a Contact when the visitor supplies an email.
It does not automatically subscribe that person to marketing. Offer a separate Email signup when you want permission to send future updates.
Next action: Turn one repeated audience question into a one-page resource and publish it through Add block.
